A brief pause, and then, hesitantly- "Er - hello. I would like to apologize briefly, that I didn't ... mention my brother can be somewhat difficult," presumably it doesn't take a Jedi to read between the lines and see 'sorry I didn't warn you', "but I'm afraid this once I wasn't expecting him. He's-" an ancient genocidal xenophobe, "-not a man to trust easily, and I hope you weren't bothered." She doesn't think he was, but she does still feel...well, awkward. Plainly, and understandably. There's a moment of silence, then, "I do hope your sister approved of my gifts. Goodnight."

	Luke is in the Nexus, presently, which is fortunate - it's unlikely he'd get any stray off-timeline broadcasts at home. He has to duck out of the coffee shop he's in and jog down a cobblestone path to clear up reception-- "Hello? Yeah, I can hear you. Who is this?" Though for some reason he feels like he knows. "--Obi-Wan?" there's laughter in his voice, as there so often is, even if he sounds a little older. "Well, Padawan Kenobi, this isn't picking up anywhere near home- are you somewhere stable? If so I'd suggest just resetting your unit and moving on."

... It's the Nexus. Luke doesn't think this would be the Obi-Wan he knew. There have been coincidences, yes - like Claire and Lucy - but his expectations don't run very far. He's a realist, but only sometimes.

Hey, some of us have galaxies to reform, Obi-Wan. Luke's own projector responds, though it's just his face and shoulders, since his PINpoint device resembles an Earth-modern blackberry cell phone (we're just going to blame Enfys for that).

"Obi-Wan!" he's grinning - all black, as usual, though the knee-length coat he has over his attire is new, as is the still-healing ruptured blood vessel in his left eye (though he probably won't be able to see that too clearly over the feed; and he can't see the bacta-bandages from his fingertips to his elbow, either, barely visible outside his clothes anyway). "No, this is not Tatooine. But it's not the City, either - you can come and go as you like once you figure it out - huuhh. You don't see any pink flying whales overhead or anything do you?"
